space in 2002. MYCA's president, Patricia Massey, is recognized
as an expert in the industry and was recently invited to speak at the
United States Distance Learning Association conference on the topic of
Immersive e-Learning Best Practices. In 2002, MYCA partnered with Pope & Associates (a premier diversity training/consulting firm) to convert their intellectual property into e-learning using an innovative team-based format. The EDGE Advantage e-learning series has won several awards for excellence and received a 4-star rating from the Association of Training & Development's review organization. This product, along with several others subsequently developed, has been deployed to dozens of Fortune 500 and smaller firms resulting in improved working relationships, reduced barriers and increased productivity. With a team of developers and support resources to handle the end user's needs, the MYCA team is meeting the challenging and demanding expectations of top corporations across the country.
MYCA is a certified WBE with a long history of providing training, application development and technical writing services to clients, including Procter & Gamble. Patti Massey, President of MYCA, served as P&G's outsourced marketing director for their IT function for over seven years providing a wide variety of consultative services. Over thirty MYCA employees were dedicated to the P&G account, all supervised by Patti.
MYCA sold its largest division in 2001 and since then Patti has spent all of her time and energy focusing on the e-learning space. The company has created dozens of e-learning modules, many of them focused on diversity and harassment.
Today, Patti manages a staff of employees who are committed to customer satisfaction and creating high quality e-learning tools. She is very experienced in developing tailored training for governmental entities and corporate clients. In 2010, Patti created the position of Chief Learning Architect and filled it with a corporate learning veteran with an extraordinary vision for integrating Learning 2.0 methods and Web 2.0 technology innovations into architected solutions. For additional capacity, Patti calls upon several highly regarded joint venture partners to provide additional resources. Patti is committed to keeping the organization lean and responsive, and focused on the niche category of e-learning creation and delivery.
