Myca specializes in multimedia and training solutions and has created some powerful online learning curriculum for corporate America.
Myca Multimedia & Training Solutions, a provider of online training and e-learning solutions, was recently chosen to participate in the national Athena PowerLink mentoring program, hosted locally by the Chamber.
The Athena PowerLink program helps women-owned businesses expand profitably through the use of professional advisory panels. Business owners learn to network, access capital and implement best practices from these volunteer advisors.
The program began in 1992 in Pittsburgh when two businesswomen recognized that female entrepreneurs often lack access to advisors and mentors.
Through the program, Myca Multimedia & Training Solutions will be linked with a volunteer panel of business advisors recruited from the local community.
Myca was chosen through a competitive selection process. “We are thrilled at the chance to participate in the Athena PowerLink program, and hope to grow our business through the experience,” said Patricia Massey, president of Myca Multimedia & Training Solutions.
Massey says she has several business goals in mind, including identifying potential content providers, partners, training firms and market niches, as well as developing sales strategies and distribution channels.
